Privacy Policy

The short version

FLINCH collects nothing. Everything you do in the app — your dares, streaks, reflections, and fear notes — is stored only on your own device. We have no servers holding your data, no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers.

What stays on your device

• Your chosen arenas, difficulty setting, and progress (nerve, ranks, streaks)
• Your daily ledger: completed dares, flinches, and reflection notes
• Your reminder ("Nudge") and sound preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself or share a card. Deleting the app (or clearing browser data on the web version) deletes it permanently. The in-app "Export record" feature exists so you can keep your own backup.

Notifications

The daily reminder is optional, off by default, and scheduled locally on your device. No push servers are involved.

Sharing

Share cards and share texts are generated on your device. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you choose to share it through your own apps.

Third parties

The web version loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers (a standard web request that includes your IP address). No other third-party service is used.

Children

FLINCH is intended for users aged 13 and over.

A note on dares

Dares are invitations, not obligations. You are responsible for how you act on them — respect local laws, other people, and your own physical limits.
